We know that the best environment to learn in is a quiet, calm, private one on one sessions, allowing both you and your dog the opportunity to focus on the specific curriculum presented during the session.
We offer a board and train option for those clients that either don’t have enough time or would prefer that we perform the initial foundation training for them.

Jim has been a member of the United Schutzhund Clubs of America since 1985, holding these offices: Pacific Northwest Regional Director for three terms, Vice President for three terms, President for two terms, and USCA Working Judge #29 until 2008.
He is a founding member, President, and Training Director of both the Cascade Working Dog Association and Olympic Working Dog Club from 1989 to the present. During that time, over 200 Schutzhund titles and degrees were awarded to its members competing at Local, Regional, National, and International Championships.
Jim has titled several dogs, competed nationally with a Rottweiler, German Shepherd Dog, and Belgian Malinois, receiving hundreds of awards over the course of his career.
Jim was selected as the Protection helper for numerous Pacific Northwest Regional Championships, the United Doberman Clubs of America Nationals and Regional Championships, the United Schutzhund Clubs World Qualifier in Denver, Colorado, and the United States Rottweiler Club National Championships twice. Jim was selected as Helper for the first Korung or ABST ever held by the United States Rottweiler Club.
We offer a range of programs including consultations, private lessons, and board & train options. Our training covers basic obedience, behavioral issues, and specialized skills for competitive sports and protection work.
Our basic board & train program has a minimum duration of three weeks. This includes comprehensive training on commands such as Heel, Sit, Down, Stay, Come, and more, along with addressing behavioral issues.
Often, yes. Our consultation/lesson combination is designed to observe, evaluate, and address your dog’s specific behavioral issues. Many problems can be significantly improved or resolved after just one session.
Private lessons offer a calm, one-on-one learning environment for you and your dog. We tailor the curriculum to your needs and provide package prices for five or more sessions to ensure consistent progress and reinforcement of skills.
The first private lesson is extensive, covering management techniques, behavioral issues, and a daily formal training routine. It is specifically designed for you and your pet to ensure a smooth transition and effective ongoing training.
